Not everything I make can be neatly lumped into a larger project. Some pieces are one-offs: responses to specific scenarios or false starts on a side path that ultimately leads back to where I started. Other things are adjacent to bigger ideas: neighbors but not family. Tendrils of my creative practice extend into every corner of my life, and I (finally) recognize this as a net positive. How I relate to everything from politics to Halloween costumes to interior décor is filtered through my identity as a visual thinker.
